South Pacific Cacao has collaborated with sister company Chocolate Artisan to create this
decadent chocolate bar. We chose premium Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve whisky for its
rich, complex flavour. Cacao nibs are soaked in whisky at a ratio of 4:1 for up to three weeks,
until the nibs literally absorb the whisky, then the chocolate is processed with only white sugar
for balance. All alcohol is evaporated away in the making. This is competition-level craft
chocolate at its finest.
Unwrap the foil for an instant hit of pipe tobacco and woody, cedar aroma. Melt it in the
mouth slowly to reveal smoky, honeyed notes and a definite trace of whisky, ending on a
mellow, dark caramel richness. This is something truly special.
