It’s been wonderful to watch this new product “brewing cacao pouches” blossom from ideation stage to something we can hold in our hands.
“Fathers Day” inspired gift pack, our honorary Dad of the SPC team Brian picked his favourites and Jess from her biz @chocolateartisan created us some special “s’mores” like items exclusively for us using the Cacao husk and vanilla beans from Manus Island PNG.
Simple easy visual directions 'how to' enjoy "Brewing Cacao" as a pure unadulterated hot bervage, a mixture of majority lightly toasted awarding winning cacao husk with nib dust as I like to call it. We created this humble product in our workshop, I believe it is a treasure to find amongst our offerings and I am so proud to share it with you all. Our friend Fraser at @mantlevideo created this mesmerising story to help people have confidence in making it for themselves the same way we do.

Last week Brian visited the North QLD Cacao research centre at the Department of Agriculture. Graciously hosted by cacao experts Yan and Massimo, he inspected new planting techniques for improving resilience and yield and also tasted some chocolate made from beans using a new bean fermentation technique. Looking forward to working more together in the future!
